Petite & Wide Leg Jumpsuits

Petite ladies! Here is a post for you and everyone else but mostly my petite ladies.
We know jumpsuits have been coming to be one of the biggest trends since last year and we can't blame them, it's easy (until you have to go pee at least) , quick, and fashionable.
The tricky part is what happens when it's not easy because the pant legs are too long and we don't have a sewing machine at hand or the time or patience, mostly patience to get it hemmed?

I found this jumpsuit in London and I loved it because of the simplicity of it and its fun sleeves. I hadn't tried wide legged jumpsuits up until now and perhaps I found the secret to how petite ladies can get into jumpsuits without a hassle.

Most  wide-legged jumpsuits are meant to be cropped on average height, therefore it's technically been shortened for below average height (one hassle out of the way). This one in particular seems to be made just for me and my 4'11" height, it comes above the ankle vs when trying to pull off the cropped wide legged jumpsuit should be right at your ankle or above.

Admittedly I am not entirely a fan of wide legged pants in itself, it has to be styled in a particular way in order to avoid accentuating ones pettiness. Don't get me wrong, I am short and proud but it may not be the look I am always going for. This is why I paired it with ankle peep toe booties, to maintain the space between the wide legged pants and ankle, obviously with a heel.

Although it's a black jumpsuit in itself is fun with the sleeves, but I needed a little more, it was too simple for me. I added some pinches of color to make it more of a day outfit. I don't think I have seen many jumpsuits with waist belts unless they are attached and meant to tie around the waist. I tried this thick waist belt to still accentuate some curves and I ended up really digging the look. Also, after looking at how the hat topped this look off I am putting hats on my top must have accessories list, it's just a LOOK, THE LOOK.
