Collar Tops Become Off-the-Shoulder

Here is a trick I have been enjoying lately. I got inspired by some ladies at an event I attended recently and noticed they had these off-the-shoulder button up collar shirts. At first I thought that the tops were designed like that but in reality it was styled to appear off-the-shoulder. I loved this trick because there are so many patterns I see on collar shirts that I love but I am not really a fan of collar shirts, I feel they don't appear flattering on me or maybe they just remind me I had to wear them a lot in high school (work-study).

As soon as I discovered this trick I ran to the thrift store to find some collar shirts and I found this beautiful sunflower top for $3, perfect for the upcoming spring/summer.

The only downfall of this is that you may find yourself fixing it constantly to continue being an off-the-shoulder top because it will rise up if you move a lot. I still found it worth it for a lunch/dinner date or a simple walk around the beach/park.

I hope you enjoyed this short blog post on styling collar tops and give it a try. Adds some sass and personality to your outfit :)

Until next time!
