Thigh High Boots

Thigh High boots make such a fun statement piece to your outfit! I was inspired by fashion blogger Wendy when she posted a simple dress with her suede gray boots ! Although it was a simple look it was a daring and stylish look. The funny story of these boots is that they were picked out by my best friend Tatiana, I wear a size 5 therefore as soon as she saw these and the odds of it being on display and a size 5 well… lets just call it "meant to be" ;D 

I really wanted a simple look with these boots as well but I also wanted something fun and unique and So I turned one of the waist belts from my coat into a bow (Although this wasn't a perfect bow until perhaps the 10th try, there was a bit of a frustration I admit)  

I did go with a light grey sweater/dress on purpose because my focus was on the lovely boots and I wanted it to pop as well as the leather waist bow. If your looking for a daring and chic look I would highly recommend to get a pair of thigh high boots or even knee high, they would make a great add to your closet !

The great thing about Fashion and Styling is your always learning, I am always learning of how to put things together and inspiration is everywhere. I had a fun time putting this outfit together because I sometimes start with a certain outfit in my head, go try it one and well… doesn't really match up exactly but that is when you improvise and WA-LA you just created a style !
